I cooked this last night
Pan seared Duck breast, cooked medium, with blackberry and apricot preserves on side. Served with mushrooms sauteed in rendered duck fat on jasmine rice with sesame seed garnish. The mushrooms were just something i had in the fridge...usually would pair this with brussels sprouts or broccolini, something green, but it worked well.
Not the greatest presentation but it was for me who cares lol. Duck breast is one of my go to proteins to cook especially for others.
Fall winter i get back on my kitchen din, and get creative.
What are yall go-to dishes if you want to impress or make a hearty meal?
