My neighborhood has been taken over by Mexicans, and I’m sure they’re lighting up this weekend. However, they went hard on the Halloween decorations. They might let them ride for a couple weeks. We just did general fall decorations with the corn husks, a fall wreath on the door, and some haystacks, and pumpkins. This works for Thanksgiving, but I hate having my Christmas stuff up after everyone else.

A lot of the Mexicans leave their’s up year-round, and turn them on after Halloween. I think that looks tacky. We’re putting up a tree, but not putting any ornaments, because the youngest cat took stuff off every day last year.

Usually 2nd weekend of November to Thanksgiving weekend normally. Sometimes before, rarely do I put them up late.

If I'm going to put the effort, I want it there longer than one month. I'm also the type to not procrastinate. I did it November 1 once.

I've already seen Christmas commercials this year. So it's not like I'm the only one anticipating Holidays. Favorite time of the year so it's no hassle.

Thanksgiving is late this year, so December is literally a few days away from the holiday. Hopefully the weather is good and I'll put them up Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm not putting anything up before then; that's blasphemous. :mjtf:

Man i tried two times to put up Xmas lights, only to realize that the windows won't hold the tape :francis: .

I just use the lights for my computer desk and just put up the stockings and tree.

That’s what I’m saying!

If I’m going to do all that work, I want them up for more than 30 days, and my lights are much nicer than everyone else’s on the block. They just throw up a bunch of random colorful lights, like they let their kids decide. My lights are white, and the decorations are coordinated.
