I can't be the only one that used to eat off RPG's in the late 90's. Game like Final Fantasy 7, 8 ,9 and 10 were all amazing. I rememeber switching from FF7 to FF8 and realizing that your party members actually FOLLOWED you, instead of morphing into your body like in FF7, sh!t had me like:lawd::lawd::lawd:

Legend of Dragoon? Kingdom Hearts?


What happened to this genre? I feel like game developers are only focusing on graphics... perfect example of Oblivon. That game feels so empty to me...idk brehs...so many features, yet still empty.

Final Fantasy 7, 8 9 and 10 were incredible. 9 might even be my actual favorite. Vivi :to:

Chrono Trigger was incredible.

Kingdom Hearts wasn't the 90s but it was still incredible. Love that game.

Super Mario RPG legend of the seven stars :ohmy:

Final Fantasy 4 :ohmy: when Cecil transformed from a Dark Knight into a Paladin :krs:

What happened to the story in RPG's? I used to get completely enveloped in these RPG's, I haven't played a game in YEARS that can captivate me with its story.

I damn near cried when Aries died brehs :damn:

SNES is still my favorite system for RPGs ever. I think I've played through Earthbound more than any other RPG besides Suikoden 1.
