Coli brehs, I'm working on a start-up company and need survey feedback

Me and my partners created a short survey to accompany our business plan and we just need a minute of your time to fill out the information, it's not long at all.

We are creating a product that is targeted for urban areas with lesser access to produce and will be very sustainable by using less water and no soil at all. It will be an aquaponic system (think fish and plants living together, fish waste provides nitrogen and ammonia which give the plants its nutrients when the water cycles.) There will be a hydroponic system as well.

yeah i didn't have a part in creating the survey, we have another college kid in New York who did that and i had some concerns on the wording also but they already started sending em out so i figured might as well collect the data on the better questions. Thanks breh

You have any early concepts of your product? This could be a success if marketed and implemented right there is a growing market for anything organic / grow it yourself

Yeah it's crazy how people are latching on so tightly to the organic trend. My friend came up with the idea in New York at the time while he was interning for IBM and I was doing an internship on the West Coast in NorCal (we're both currently seniors at the University of Florida in Gainesville) and so I had seen the demand firsthand cuz organic everything is drilled into everyone's heads out there and there were just way more options for it.

He saw more of the need for it because he was living in a very urban part of New York and there wasn't as great of access to produce as you would find where we're from. One of his coworkers, another engineer, had done a project on it with the initial concept so he already had in mind what he wanted to do. We spent the last few weeks putting a prototype together and have a first rendition complete and are going to test it as we go.

We entered a business plan competition that the school is putting on where the 8 or so winners will split $40,000 in start-up money so we're giving it a go. They came to me because I did a similar venture a couple years back where me and another group had to come up with a tech start-up in 3 days and that went on to become a fortune 500 company for startups (www.partender.com has all the details and background on that one) but I took a hiatus from that one for a bit to do the internship.

If you want to keep up or learn more about it I could PM u with the developments. Feedback is awesome and we're still in the infant stages (4 of us now) but should have the business plan done by April so there's plenty of room for more collaborators in the meantime

Hmm, saw something similar with a company that was doing something similar with the product and was selling the product to whole foods. I might want to talk to you down the line to get more information on that

they're a start up as well but they have a model that they can show proof of concept. Eventually there's plans to franchise.

this bytch I know does something with water treatments.... has a non profit for urban areas... deals with the home environment and water waste n health.

anyway, you can probably get a grant for something like this.
