Coli Brehs...help a breh figure out his next home studio equipment purchases

For the record, this is my first time posting in this section...so I apologize if I'm in the wrong in doing so....I see alot of cats making music on here so I figured I'd ask.

I've been rhyming for about 16 years....recording for about 12 years but i honestly havent picked up much...my worst music is the stuff i recorded/mixed myself without any actual knowledge of how to do so...

Anyways, I'm trying to cut out the middle man (at least as far as recording goes) and take shyt into my own hands so i can be a little more productive and i honestly have no idea where to start

Quality-wise, I need to be able to put out music with equal-or-greater quality than my last solo project, Blunt Guts & Glory. Here is a link to the project for reference:

You have a good audio interface? What mic? A lot of it is mixing skills to.

You need a good mic, a good mic pre amp, and a decent audio interface to start I'd say.

A computer, and some monitors. Some patience to research.

Dope..to rec yourself..use Logic or Protools on your laptop and get a M-Box interface..a mic stand and a AKG mic..I dunno, but that's what my boy uses..doesn't matter where you rec at..all my music is rec in the living room, but you could have a closet set up..what matters is how good you can mix..they have community college classes for this type of stuff..
