Women grow up hearing shyt like "if you keep doing _____ you won't get a man" they hear it too.
Men and women both grow up hearing awful advice when it comes to relationships.

tbh, he probably wont get any hate for that observation because it's pretty accurate as far as what people impress upon others.
but, i do feel like its up to a man to figure out what he wants as it's part of knowing himself. you can't really teach another man what to like, they either experience and decide or it's impressed on them so they develop an attachment to the idea.
as for women, i believe they definitely get the opportunity to understand how to treat a man as long as the man isn't unstable because that can fukk up a woman's idea of expectations and understanding. some won't take the time, though. or they attempt to overstand in a sense and not just straight up be sensible when seeking understanding

This is where single parent households in America of the last 30 years cripples gender relations here rears its ugly head on bad advice, but overseas where men are more appreciated, no such conflict occurs (much).
