Antaurio Jekel Jackson, 20, was holding a BB gun when he emerged from his apartment Sunday evening, police told the news station. He was wanted in connection with the armed robbery at the China Express on South Park Street.
Employees of the restaurant told police a man came inside about 5:40 p.m. and tried to order food, but his card was declined. He went to the bathroom and emerged a short time later with a gun, police said. The man allegedly demanded the restaurant give him his food.
He then walked out and drove away, according to police. Officers were able to locate Jackson using a description of his vehicle.
Jackson is from Dallas, Georgia, but was living at the Carrollton apartment complex, police told Channel 2.
He was being held in the Carroll County Jail on Monday, and a bond amount has not been set.
