I caught some of it. Seems like this has been done before recently.

They did the 60s and the 70s...I'm a sucker for this type of shyt though so I was :lupe: the whole time. Next week they're going to talk about the AIDS scare. Last night made me think what they'd do for the 90s in terms of TV. The 60s, 70s and 80s all added something new to tv in big ways, whether it be networks or programming. The 90s sort of just built on the 80s and outside of reality tv and more cable, I can't really think of any groundbreaking things

First episode was good. Talked alot about TV show s and the changes in TV. Other parts will get into heavier subjects like politics, HIV/AIDS, etc

That's the pattern. they always start with how each decade started on TV and then trickle it down from there which is actually a great way to frame it

Yeah I like this kind of stuff too, it's interesting. But some other channel did 80s, 90s and 00s. Might be a few years old. This one is a tad different but very similar still.

90s started the home theater experience. I worked for a electronic store in the late 90s, I can remember the surge in home theater and big screen tvs. Surround sound and dvd. Everything was switching to high Def as far as sound was concerned, the first plasma tvs were coming out. Cable was huge, ppv etc.

History Channel or Discovery. They had the thing with Rob Lowe narrating each decade.

And yeah I know the technical innovations but I meant the on screen innovations because that's normally what they talk about. I know they'll talk about the real world, the renaissance in black tv, probably nypd blue, possibly TGIF

Vh1 had the "I love the 70s 80s and 90s" TV show. It just had celebrities talking g about random subject or item from the time period. Was actually pretty entertaining.
