Funny story:

The Chris Jericho Cruise wasn't just about wrestling and musical performances, there was also a story time session involving Jericho and his friends. Jericho was joined by Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll and Adam Page during a cruise recording of his Talk is Jericho podcast in front of a live audience.

At one point the discussion shifted to locker room leaders and Jericho told a story about CM Punk asserting himself as WWE's locker room leader.

"Cody, do you remember this weird locker room meeting in WWE once where CM Punk said that [he was the locker room leader]? Do you remember that?" asked Jericho.

"I tried not to name names," responded Cody.

"I'll say it because it's my cruise," replied Jericho. "[Punk] said, 'As the locker room leader...'

"You don't lead me!" Jericho responded to a chorus of applause.

Cody noted that while some people looked at Punk as the locker room leader, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T took exception it.

"It worked on a certain demo of the locker room," said Cody. "But there was one meeting where Booker T was in the room and Punk hit the 'As the locker room leader, I'm telling all of you guys to pick up your trash' and Booker literally threw his trash on the floor.

"He's not telling me to pick up my trash," Cody said while impersonating Booker T. "They had this whole interaction."

Cody went on to name Kane as the only "actual" locker room leader.

"Glen (Kane) is the only actual locker room leader," Cody explained. "Absolutely, he's the Mayor now!"

"He is somebody that you would listen to because he's 6'9" 350 lbs of muscle," Jericho stated. Jericho added that if Kane told him to pick up the trash he would do it, but wouldn't if Punk told him to do the same.

Punk makes enemies with everyone he comes across in life. he's one of the last people that would be considered a leader :skip: a constantly mad, narcissistic drama queen:pachaha:

plus you can't be the "leader of the locker room" with tiny hands like this :mjlol:

Jericho finally returning fire. :ehh:

Punk even had the nerve back in 2010 to try and lecture both Jericho (20 years experience at the time) and Edge (18 years experience at the time) for not being "professional" enough for his standards :stopitslime:

On his recent podcast Chris Jericho recalled an incident where he and Punk teamed against Edge and John Morrison, while Team Canada battled Team USA in the gold medal hockey game of the 2010 Winter Olympics. All wrestlers involved had agreed to call the match in the ring. Team Canada had just made a goal as Chris Jericho was about to start his entrance and Jericho said he was thrilled by that.

Punk started the match, and Jericho realized he was not getting tagged in. He said it took him five minutes to come to terms that he wasn’t going to get in the ring. Jericho then said Punk worked the whole match by himself, as Jericho stood on the apron. Jericho also mentioned getting struck with a can of Coke to the back of his head by a fan after the match, which made him even more upset.

Jericho summoned all four wrestlers in the trainer’s room afterwards, and asked Punk what his problem was. Punk said they were unprofessional because they watched the hockey game. Jericho said there may have been people who paid to see him on that day, and robbed them of the opportunity.

Edge chimed in to say between him and Jericho, they had been in the business for 40 years. He understood where Punk was coming from, yet he mentioned that in a few years, Punk would understand where he would be in his career. Edge then mentioned an instance where Punk was tweeting about the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs during a pay-per-view.

hypocrite :mjlol:

Now we know why Booker T took so much joy in that Mickey Gail/Punk fight a few years back.

Cody went on to name Kane as the only "actual" locker room leader.

That's my Mayor. :mjcry:
