It sucks but he really was just a transitional champ because the E has its head so far up it's own ass... a damn shame.

Funny thing is dudes run would have meant more if he lost to Daniel Bryan or Ryback, at least it would have helped elevate a new star.
Instead he was just a place holder, a seat filler for The Rock

Punk holding the belt itself for that long of a period is an accomplishment and he should be saluted for it. Cats complained for a long time about the belt being devalued because of the hot dogging back and forth for the past 5 years but yet dude held it for 400 something days and brought credibility back to it.
