Just caught for the first time last night. I could swore she's been married twice. Now granted, that's but just cuz it's not something for US doesn't mean it's not good for somebody else out there. Breh knew what the situation was and still wanted to do right by her, til he REALLY learned what it meant and cowered-- not cuz of her, or the kids, but the government.


They wanted us to be jaded by the thought of broken families becoming whole and it worked.

Claudine was played by DIAHANNE CAROL one of the finest women of all time

even when she played older middle aged woman in the FIVE HEARTBEATS film...

The whole film was full of powerful scenes. Her finding out her daughter was pregnant, "Boom Boom" getting snipped, hiding new items from the welfare folks....this was a beautiful film. James Earl Jones and Diahann Carroll BOTH deserved Oscar nominations.

Why in the fukk would you need assistance from the government if you got two grown ass people working living in the house together. If you cant afford to make ends meet with two grown folks then stop letting random nikkas nut in you.

This was a pretty good movie...sorta speaks volumes on certain topics in our community my pop showed me this movie when I was 15 and low-key I kinda cried because of how bad Claudine was living up in that small apartment with her kids .
