Not sure they count as classics but I like em a helluva whole lot. And since the op brought up Michael Caine

Damn those look good I'm gonna check them out :ohhh:

Check out that soylent green its set in 2022 but made in 1973 i believe which is like 6 years or so from now and the world is devoid of any meat or milk or any kind of food and the have and have nots are truly separated.:wow:

Great movie

The Spook Who Sat By The Door is required watching for every Black American. Talk about a movie that would never ever ever come out in modern times. 2 AKs up! :violent:
Hollywood Shuffle and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are quality to.

Will mos def check for the soylent green. Looks interesting. As @jayshiggs mentioned The Spook Who Sat by the Door is a must watch (or read). The original Get Carter is better than the Sly Stone remake to me. Not many ppl I come across watched Hollywood Shuffle but it's worth a watch.

Who you telling. Wishful thinking but I wouldn't mind a remake the same year as Black Panther while we're at it.

one of the first american martial arts flicks to feature hapkido, would have been classic to me if the hero in this was actually a native american instead of a white guy portraying one :martin: i can see how it got sort of forgotten in the era that brought us bruce lee, the "im gonna wop you on the side of your face" line is movie fight scene gold

This movie is one of my favs i think this was the first movie to use one person as multiple characters

A young Paul Mooney with his purple ring shinin'! Me and my co-worker used to point our rings at each other when our bosses got too demanding. lol
This movie isn't as funny as most Richard Pryor stuff but the message is really great. It's easy to get caught up out here in the corporate world if you don't keep your priorities in order.

So damn true it's very very interesting to me it's a comedy and with a real lesson but nothing can make me laugh like when the preachers wife was beating pryors ass if she did not get her preggo "get up nikka!!" That look on his face :mjcry:
