Marley Marl's In Control show (which was the successor of Mr. Magic's Rap Attack show on BLS) was the personification of NY radio at its GREATEST. It would come on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 to midnight on 107.5 WBLS (Competing against Chuck Chillout and Red Alert on 98.7 Kiss FM) In its short time span (The show only lasted a year from 89-90) it definitely pushed the envelope as far as mix shows went. Marley Marl was the host with Clark Kent DJing on there Friday nights and a young Pete Rock DJing on there Saturday nights. This particular show has Pete Rock on the 1's and 2's cutting it up with Tragedy, EPMD and Run (of Run DMC) stopping by as guests
