Best looking thing from the showcase at least insofar as the stuff I like to play goes.

they mentioned KH2 and FF8 specifically here
and that makes me concerned.

I coulda understood KH1.
I coulda tolerated KH3.

I woulda understood FF7.
I woulda celebrated FF9.

but... but I'm worried about their choices there. I need someone to press them on their Persona choice. If they say P2 I know the whole list is them trolling and I'm un-wishlisting immediately

I still feel like this is gonna be roguelite-ish. The envirnmonets look very biome-ish, like you go into one then jump into another one, start over, recruit different characters to go out, etc.

But I’ll wait and see how it shaeks out.

Combat looks all flash and little substance. If you are going to add dodge and parry mechanics make the combat ATB. With the QTE make into Legend of Dragoon timing base combat

Its kinda like shadow hearts/losy oddysey

But i feel like it would make more sense to give you different choices of button combinations so you do different moves like Sabin in FF6

Looks dope, even though I'm not a big fan of turn-based combat like I used to be.
