It would of been nice to have that other girl back as well, oh well

Oh i agree.
This franchise took stoopid pills on 28 weeks later.

Nobody gave a fukk bout the zombies or a cure.

We cared about the characters of the film in 28 days later.

The beauty of the first film is the characters. Who happen to be in a zombie apocalypse.

I hope it doesn't age like milk like the OG which looks like a absolute shyt in a 4K world and gets worse every year visually

The original had an indie look.
That was supposed to feature that tho.
That is basically an ol school indie slash wannabe foreign film style try of:

What if romero shot it in europe.

It was made to look like that.

The first movie is a classic. Directed by Boyle who's done some tremendous movies + characters were interesting.

The rest of the series is typical zombie shyt we've seen way too many times.

Since this new upcoming film has the director who did the 1st film, it may have some interesting moments. But I am not expecting shyt. Majority of these franchise reboots suck these days, just a quick money grab scheme.

Far too many wack ass zombie films, the formula has been done so many fukking times. I've been very entertained by Romero's classic films, or the Evil Dead series, but what's with the movie industry obsession of keep making zombie flicks?

And then some bait you with cool moments just to piss you off with the rest of wack ass film. Like the 1st Resident Evil that had a dope sounding theme, then did that nasty scenes by slicing up one of the crews inside the trap.....and then once they showed the 1st wackass looking zombie, the rest of the movie went straight to trash

The original was an early digitally video shot movie in an era when most movies were still shot on film. An experiment that lacked foresight and is even more frustrating since the last scene was shot with a normal camera

This is disconnect from the film maker and film house administratively. Cutting corners to even have it made on some cop and blow shyt.

Yet the end product could suffer from theft of the romero meets Melvin peoples slash spike Lee guerrilla film making process that was misappropriated from black film and black content makers.

Which is what the romero race dialectic in zombie movies is oddly entrenched in culturally. So this movie was a big budget take. On trying to mass produce an indie black film. Or a movie franchise.
that is welled in the dialectic about race. Using zombies and the back drop of social decay as rhe setting.

The issue with 28 days as a franchise is. It tried to bait and switch the race dynamic out of the franchise. When zombie movies are welled in the dialectic and discussion on race at its core. Self admittedly from romero himself. Who singlehandidly created the genre independently. Just like peoples created rhe block buster. Plus spike created rhe social discussion of black folks.
in america as a base in film as well.
After earning the ability to garner major art house budgeting.

Also I noticed.

Why not just name this 28 months later.

We trying to see Naomi Harris bout it killing zombies.
Plus living to tell.
Her zombie tale.
like Jada Pickett lived in her demon night horror movie. Where again we got no sequel.

This third movie shpuld be called 28vmonths later. I don't give a fukk about the children of this zombie apocalypse. All we cared about was Naomi Harris character in rhe zombie apocalypse.

:manny:
People love to watch them, itā€™s easy money.

And the resident evil movies were trash from the jump because Sony pictures canā€™t help itself when it comes from deviating away from and fukking up perfect source material.
