Northeast already losing this year weather wise, now y'all gotta deal with a massive swarm of mating insect demons that only pop up once every 17 years

Listening to talk radio last night (MPR i believe it was)...
The main discrepancy with these things is not so much are they harmful or eat your plants or any shiit like that - but the nuisance stems from the fact that they are extra large and when they mate, the sheer numbers of them are overwhelming.
So when they start to die and shiit - they cover the land with all this dead bug carcass dibree.
With the torrential/unpredictable weather, excess population, having to watch west coast sporting events that start at 11 pm and bath salts - the east coast is becoming more seemingly less appealing to live in nowadays.

You can't even get ya car cleaned cuz it'll be covered in bugs and such within hours, that was a rough summer...going out to get lunch one day and they were all in the air, one hit me dead in my face like right by my nose...man I said "F it" and turned right back around and ate out the vending machine that day...couldn't take it...I was so happy to return to NYC to school that summer

Those bugs invaded illinois summer 07.Those things are the size of quarters and be splattering on your windshield when you doin 60+ and make these sounds like a bunch of maracas being shaken simultaneously

I was in 7th grade when the 17 year ones came out. I seen some in the summer last year. Them shyts freaked me out
