Chucky 7 Ready To Start Shooting In South Africa

Don Mancini, who co-wrote the original Child’s Play and wrote all five of the sequels, has taken to Twitter to tease an upcoming seventh film in the killer doll series. If his tweets are to be believed, he will once again sit in the director’s chair (a job he first took on in 2004’s Seed of Chucky) and filming is just about ready to commence in South Africa. Based on his social media communications with other stars of the franchise, it looks like Jennifer Tilly and Fiona Dourif are both set to return as Tiffany (Chucky’s partner in evil-murdering-doll crime) and Nica (who made her series debut in 2013’s Curse of Chucky). And we’ll give Mancici this – he definitely hasn’t lost a step when it comes to raw, vocal enthusiasm.

Curse of Chucky was actually pretty good. You can tell it had a limited budget, but it was a pretty good flick to watch during Halloween. Seed of Chucky was no way to go out. With that being said, South Africa is an odd choice to film this.

But that shyt with cgi or whatever the fukk it is that was with Chucky was wack
All them other shyts after part 2 were garbage
I only watch Bride of Chucky cause i keep hoping that white girl will get butt ass nakey

I havent seen anything past part 3. I will give this guy a kudo on the fact that he has stuck with the franchise for all the movies in some sort of capacity, usually you dont see that (ie freddy, jason, and mike myers movie)

Funny story about the second one. I, at the age of six, rented it from a low rent gas station thinking it was a kids' movie. I never looked at my toys the same way agin and it was a real eye opener...
