TNA ring announcer Christy Hemme called Austin Aries's actions during Thursday's Impact taping "unacceptable" on Twitter this weekend. Aries appeared to issue a biting response late Saturday night.

The incident occurred during Thursday's Impact when Aries appeared to "put his nuts" in Hemme's face after Hemme incorrectly introduced Aries and Bobby Roode for the #1 contender tag match.

Aries, in-character as a heel, cornered Hemme to intimidate her before she corrected her ring introduction. Aries then stood on the corner turnbuckle with his crotch in front of Hemme's face, drawing questions about whether he crossed the line trying to play a heel, although Hemme was heard laughing into the mic as Aries did it.

The Twitter portion of the incident started with a person on Twitter posting: "Did @AustinAries Put His Nuts In @hemmepowered Face?" Hemme replied to the reader, "Yes. Unacceptable."

Late Saturday night, Aries tweeted, "Pretty nuts, some of the junk people get the balls to say over the net, knowing they couldn't to your face...Eh, anyway, time to sack out." Aries did not name Hemme in the tweet, nor refer to the incident, but his use of the words "nuts," "junk," "balls," and "sack" strongly hinted at what he was referring to.

Her Twitter response sounds like a worked babyface reaction to help put the heel over. If she laughed when it happened, she obviously wasn't offended.
