Christian ... awkward?

Dude just doesn't seem to have much of a connection with the fans at this point. Seems to be on the last legs of his career. He doesn't seem like he belongs at all to me, he's about as plain as it gets right now. He's a good worker, no doubt, but he doesn't have much of a legitimate look to him.

After he puts over Del Rio at Summerslam, I think the only role he could be in that could legitimately keep him on TV is a tag team. It'll never happen, but you can pair up Christian with Ryder and have him be sort of a mentor til Ryder eventually turns heel on him. They have one last match, he puts Ryder over and retires.

We all know Ryder probably wouldn't happen here, but I'm sure there's somebody they could have tag with Christian. They could probably have a nice run for a few months, maybe a feud with PTP which could be comedy culminating in them losing a title match to the Shield at some pay per view then doing the breakup.

I honestly think that's Christian's best chance if he's not planning on retiring.

Only parts I'll disagree with, but he is VERY character-wise and look-wise. Puts on a decent match if the other guy is going over or he's tagging with another good wrestler...but he's just always going to be a less-dynamic secondary guy in my eyes like D-Von or Chavo.

Like I've been saying in the Raw threads, the ONLY thing I look forward to from Christian is him smacking the fukk out of guys. shyt's hilarious...and brutal. I'm like every time.

Christian is probably one of the better talents they got. Injuries have held him back a lot though. He's not over enough to get a legit WWE title feud and they always use him to put over some pet project when it comes to the WHC. This feud with Del Rio is basically the man who should have had a legit WHC reign vs. The forced fed champion who's reign we had to sit through for months.

I like him. If he can somehow get massively over with the fans again, competing for the SD title is exactly where he should be (I wouldn't make him a main star on Raw). As it is now though, he's more like a U.S./I-C title guy. They should definitely keep him around, he's good in the ring and cuts good promos but he doesn't seem as into it as he once was. I think he knows his best days are behind him in terms of getting pushes and is reacting accordingly.

He and Orton had some of the best matches of the last few years but he's been booked horribly since coming back. Doesn't help he's been injury prone.

This guy has a sick finisher, but the build up/execution is azz. There's so many variations to the kill switch, I don't get why he doesn't switch it up every now & then.
