If Jericho and other people who said shyt like this were around during WWII, they'd be screaming at us about how serious suicide is and saying we shouldn't be happy about Hitler offing himself. They don't really give an iota - not an atom - of a fukk about human lives or anything that actually matters. Or at least, they don't care more about people than they do the appearance of being morally upright and their own selfish sense of piety and grace. Everything they know about right and wrong they learned from Saturday morning cartoons and Naruto where if you take the high ground and talk to the evil world destroying fascist, he'll see the error of his ways and be your friend.
Trump and others like him have spent years - decades - making life harder for everyone else. Inciting racial violence, stripping the LGBT community of their rights, forcing millions to live in poverty and work to earn scraps until the day they die, stoking the fires of Islamophobia and distrust of foreign nations, ripping families apart and tossing children in cages, allowing climate change to do untold damage to the planet, and the list goes on. All so they could maintain their privilege and not have to pay taxes.
The idea that I or anyone else should feel bad for crossing some imaginary line by hoping fate finally sees fit to repay just a small amount of the pain and misery Trump and his ilk have imposed on the rest of us is laughable. Especially because it's only being said to maintain some childish ideal of decorum or worse, because a bunch of people who barely even read the Bible or any other spiritual text decided to take their Grandmother's advice about wishing death on another being some grand sin to heart.
Plus, the fact that so much of the pearl clutching is happening on Twitter of all places is hysterical. I see nikkas get on the bird EVERY DAMN DAY to laugh at and wish misfortune on others. You telling me we got more smoke for chicks with OnlyFans accounts and trash boyfriends than actual white supremacists?!
No, Trump dying won't even begin to undo all the damage he's done in these last four years. It won't bring back the 200k people lost due to his administration downplaying the virus and outright lying to us about it. But if the only justice we can get is poetic justice in the form of this dude being offed by the very virus he tried to pass off as a liberal hoax, I'll take it.
