03 IMO was the prime of his career, having great matches, interviews, skits. Dont know if it was the bad run in 02 that held him back or something else, but i think he grew leaps & bounds in that 1 year span. And you already know who he was better than

Sadly this was during the HHH Overexposure era, which was like Jordan's NBA run in 90's only terrible and uninteresting. Jericho and other more interesting/over guys were regulated to the mid-card, Raw was a dark period in those days. Thank God for Smackdown tho, good times indeed.

I disagree. While he was super entertaining and great in the ring, his promos back then were too over the top to where I couldn’t take him seriously. At least not as a top top guy.

I could’ve seen it from 99-01 for sure. And his 08 run was amazing. But I’d put RVD or Book as far as 03 goes

I feel like if he had a better, more impactful finisher he’d have been a bigger star sooner. The Walls are cool, but you need something more attention grabbing. He didn’t have that till the Codebreaker, which was the start of his career best run.
