1st matchup: Chimera Ant arc. Berserk has been done so many times and I don't remember that arc.
2nd matchup: Dark Tournament. Character growth is magnificent. Kyoto arc never had Kenshin go full Battousai. Only hints and glimmers.

Two goat level arcs, apples to oranges though. In the Chimera Ant arc there is a lot of underlying themes about human nature, war, geopolitical affairs, and hypocrisy. And Golden Age's basically a captivating story climaxed with pretty much one of (if not) the rawest moments in manga/anime. I'd pick Chimera Ant arc personally just because there are other Berserk arcs I prefer compared to Chimera which is the clear cut in HxH.​
