I made this for the /r/makinghiphop snes mixtape that's currently under development. I really hope they use it, but if not its still a nice beat.

Can you upload the original sample? The melody sounds good but the drums aren't moving.

If your sample isn't flipped in some insane way then yours drums need to bring the heat or at least compliment sample

The original sample is this track. I used it mostly for the hook part and for flavoring the verse sections. The melodies and basslines are of my own construction.

After hearing it a lot and not really getting any responses on it I've concluded that the drums are probably what drug it down. Glad to get some confirmation on that. Might go back and work on those some more.
