I think theres a dope Redman sample of this on Dare.

Chic is one of my favorite groups, I actually read Nile Rogers memoir recently. That guys life was completely crazy up until some point in the 90s, kind of amazing that he survived.

Whats really interesting is that Chic was initially supposed to be a Funk Rock group along the lines of Roxy Music, but they couldn't gain traction and happened to jump on the Disco wave at the right time.
