For my beats I don't use loops or samples for the foundation of the beat. I use samples for like sound effects so the beats are pretty much made from scratch. I don't do trap beats or really follow any formula or set standard either. I just start making the beat and if it sounds good to me I keep it. I would say that I make music for people to rap over not music for people to dance to if you catch my drift.

Not the type of beats I would personally go for. The melodies on most of them were hard for me to follow. It sounded like two different melodies at some points. I would definitely start polishing up the arrangement there first. Maybe work on some easy chords first with "bigger" sounds?

Thanks for the feed. I do have two melodies going at the same damn time on a few tracks. I'm not sure why it's hard to follow but I'll keep that in mind. Maybe if I hadn't created it I may hear it the same way idk.
