Yea I have to agree. He wasn't really a villain just a hardcore Native American that wasn't taking shyt. Hood was the fraud playing a cop when he was just a criminal obsessing over Carrie. Chayton was a little extreme but compared to what was done to his people over the years I can't blame him. The silent ether he gave to Emmett after escaping was indeed.
