In an interview with BleacherReport.com, Smackdown women’s champion Charlotte Flair commented on people that have criticized her being pushed to the top in WWE…

“I have been on top since 2015, whether I’ve been holding the title or not. People don’t realize how much pressure and hard work and dedication and I’ve never been about for a lengthy time. I’ve never had a major injury and to be able to stay on top like that is a tremendous amount of work in our industry. Instead of looking at it as a positive, like ‘Wow, what a consistent performer, what a hard-worker,’ it’s just, ‘Ugh, she’s always in the title picture, she always has the title.'”

“There’s a lot of title runs I’m not proud of just because I didn’t do anything with it, but when you look at it, it’s multiple feuds with multiple women that I dropped the title to. One of my favorite matches of all time was a main event on Raw where I dropped the title to Bayley in 2017. With where I’m at today, it’s not that they don’t like the good, they just don’t like the best. There’s a quote I look at, that’s not exactly it. But I must be doing something right to always be talked about: good, bad or indifferent. I don’t think the same criticism always goes toward men being in the title picture. In this business, you want to be the champion. It’s not like you wake up and say, ‘Today, I don’t want to be the champion.’ No, you should always want to be the champion. That means you’re the hardest worker in the room when you’re holding that title. Yes, I don’t understand the criticism sometimes, but at the same time, my haters make me that much better.”
Women always lose the argument when they say shyt like this, because you can always find examples of men getting the same treatment. Is she really going to act like Roman and Brock didn't get nuclear hate when they were champs in the past?:mjlol:

Time has really helped Cena. I really couldn't stand him and his "Hogan booking", but he had incredibly thick skin compared to todays wrestlers. Wrestlers now get booed and told to STFU and they go on IG and post a damn novel length response about respect.:russ:

I know I won alot of titles, but that means everytime I lost it I put someone over :troll:

I don't understand why I get shyt on, I can't really think of any times a company pushed someone so much they got booed. Never in history I heard of that shyt. :sas1:

Never once have I thought that maybe I need to improve alot as a performer so that the fans will fukk with me more, because I'm a perfect wrestler and deflect with "they only hate the best" :camby:

Myself and my own.

She is so delusional. :hhh:

She's La Nariz with a terrible flair strut
I cannot for the life of me understand how or why she is so bad at the strut. The utter lack of coordination is appalling. :scust:

As mentioned earlier, John Cena got booed for a decade straight for his booking, and his theme music got the "sucks" treatment with certain crowds.

Roman got drowned in boos and "shyt the fukk up" chants after beating Taker.

Rey Mysterio, of all people, got booed out the building at the Rumble simply for not being Daniel Bryan.

Has Charlotte dealt with anything close to situations like that? Come on now.

Chuck never seems to hear the actual criticism though because most people will admit (even begrudgingly) that she is good in the ring and is capable of having good matches especially with the top level women in the company but it's the stuff in between the matches that sucks.
Her feuds are awful because the emphasis seems to always be on Chuck getting over on whoever she is feuding with to the point it creates this one sided storyline that rarely does much to make the other woman look good or be in a better position when the feud ends.

She got like 20 title reigns while being in the company for under a decade :russ: of course the average fan is tired of you. Her being rikkk flairs daughter just makes it worse.
Exactly

It’s like fukk it though, unless she abruptly retires or leaves they gonna keep pushing the fukk out of her

Regardless though, don’t care male or female when you past 6-7 for your title reign counts most them shyts aren’t remembered and don’t get acknowledged by someone like me. Her pops was the exception once upon a time then mfs like Orton, Edge, HHH, Cena & herself started doing it too & made me realize how dumb having that many reigns are

Now I look at people with like 1-5 reigns as champ as more legit because of that bullshyt
