Charlie Cox recently revealed that his contract includes an option to appear on the big screen as the Man Without Fear, and while he admits here that the chances of a Captain America: Civil War cameo are slim, the British actor is far more interested in a Daredevil solo outing...

The original plans for Marvel's TV shows on Netflix was that they would each receive a single season before being teamed up for The Defenders. However, the overwhelmingly positive response to Daredevil resulted in The Man Without Fear getting a second season next year, and fans are already making it clear that they want to see his take on Matt Murdock on the big screen. Will it happen in Captain America: Civil War? "Well he’s in the comics, but I think they’re already… I think I might have missed that boat..." Cox admits. "So unless someone watches the show and falls so madly in love with it that they decide to get me in for a day, that would be great, but I have no idea." Of course, it was actually Iron Fist in the Civil War comic book, but that was explained in the character's solo title as a retcon of sorts because Matt was supposed to be in jail at the time the event took place. As of right now, the chances of a cameo do seem slim.

Not to worry though as rumour has it that Daredevil and his fellow Defenders will all appear in Avengers: Infinity War! Cox meanwhile also told IGN that he's very keen on giving the character his own solo outing somewhere down the line. "Yeah that would be awesome – I’d love to do that. I love doing the TV show and I love that we have so much more time to explore the origin story and real deal with character and inner conflict, and spend a lot of time brooding in that world and those feelings, which is unusual for a superhero. And usually when you’ve got a two-hour movie it’s action-packed, and so I think that’s one of the things that the show has really benefitted from – having that extra time to really get to know and sit with these characters and see them as humans. But I’d love to see Daredevil on the big screen again. It would be great. And if I could be involved with that I’d be thrilled." There's no way Kevin Feige and the rest of the Marvel Studios team will have missed Daredevil being called the best comic book adaptation of all-time by some critics, so a Phase 4 movie is probably a very likely possibility...do you want a Daredevil movie?

I think a Daredevil movie is a bad idea unless Marvel is willing to push the envelope in a "feature film" and keep it as dark as THE DARK KNIGHT with a Daredevil feature. Maybe because the response has been so positive they are willing to go darker with their features. Just don't want to see Daredevil lose the edge in the feature world. This incarnation of Daredevil (Netflix series) is the one I've always wanted to see. Hopefully they keep that tone in the feature world, if they do a Daredevil movie.

They're going to need something to fill the spot when/if all the current Avengers decide to move on to other things.

Would Marvel allow a movie Daredevil to be rated R? Considering the fight scenes I'm pretty sure the netflix series would be considered rated R if it they were considered films...

I don't know if Disney is willing to go that route. The fact they allowed what we saw on Netflix is :leon: to me.

If they do, they'll do it under their Touchstone or Hollywood Pictures imprint.

Marvel movies don't even got the Disney logo on it, so if they bring that kind of more mature material to the big screen, expect it to be a Marvel imprint like Marvel Knights (I think they used that one for the second Ghost Rider movie which was rated R).

Marvel doing too much, they need to slow down this gravy train and concentrate a getting the details and story right for the big screen. Avengers already fukked up Black Panther's legacy...on purpose I believe.

Native of the NYC, getting fed in the Big D!
Ultron goes to Wakanda and buys all the vibranium from Ulysse Klaw, which he plans to use to create his ultimate "VISION" of himself. Then in a fit of rage after Klaw says something to piss him off, he chops off Klaw's hand (essentially sabotaging any studio's version of Black Panther's Klaw)
Wow. And I think it won't end there with the BP altering.
Thank you.
