So one day it hit me that I had never seen or heard a cac do this ...

So i went to google thinking I would find some kind of historical breakdown on our nasal passages or something but all I found was these damn cacs talkin shyt!!

I challenge you to google "black people snort" or "snorting sound" and come back with what you find.

Why do black people make that snorting sound?
Kinda curious....it's odd and kinda makes me want to puke a little

I have noticed this too. I thought maybe it was something involuntary or a nervous habit. I'm a white guy but I work around many black/African-Americans and have noticed it quite often but was too afraid to ask about it. I also work around many Africans too and I am trying to think if any of them have that habit but none that I can recall.

Why do black people make that snorting sound?
I am curious and it bothers me when I hear it. I know there are some that don't do it, but the ones that do, do it a lot. I just want to know is it genetic, or what? It sounds kind of like, depicted in the movies, when people are snorting cocaine.

They and some other non-Black folks also blow their noses while inside of a room filled with people. Maybe I'm one of the few people who find this to be discourteous. You have the professor lecturing and, every so often, the flow is just abruptly interrupted.

I don't know what this snorting sound is supposed to sound like, but any white person saying that they don't know why black people make any sort of nasal noise, is a fukking liar that needs to catch a bat to the knee for trying to make nasal problems into a racial thing. I've been on trains damn near all over the globe with my face wrapped up 'cause white people of all flavors just on there hacking up lungs and phlegm and leaving that shyt on rails/seats with wanton abandon.

I mean the DAB motion was originally a gesture of respect within the black community when a dude had to sneeze so he did it in the crook of his arm so that spray don't hit nobody else or pollinate the air'n'shyt, but it's another hot ass dance in the white community that got manifest destinied like that Shmurda shyt, but some of these fools gonna have that irony lost on 'em while sneezing/spitting/puking on public transport, not giving solid fukks and then talking shyt on twitter or whatever else the fukk, I'm sure.
