Movie was ehh,honestly he shouldn't even been nominated for an Oscar . His role was blasphemous and terrible and people think he deserved an Oscar?He should have got one for Black Panther (even tho Michael B was better actor) let alone 42 but Ma Rainey call me hater I don't care at this movie. His last role was blasphemous and disgusting. Cringeworthy lines. Glad Anthony Hopkins won the Oscar.

The movie hasnt stuck with me, but his performance was great.

The issue is Denzel has to figure out a better way to translate these plays into movies. Too static.
