Bradley Manning may get a life sentence under the espionage act, but who did he spy for?
The American people?

Meanwhile Zimmerman is free

Untrue!
Both have to do with the justice system
Both ended up with messed up verdicts

combined it shows how messed up the justice system is!

I see your point though, but nontheles.....

I don't think you see his point at all. The justice system is different due to jurisdiction, charges and evidence.

There is no doubt Manning broke the laws. If you feel like I do, and that he broke the law to reveal much more significant laws being broken (and thus should be classified as a whistleblower), that's something else.

whistleblowers get protection for the most part...but i guess not when your whistle blowing against the actual government who set the laws to begin with[/quote]

Japan, but from the 989
Zimmerman was rewarded for killing a black male. It happens all the time. Manning broke an American sin...snitches get stitches. It's America baby, we were founded on blood and violence. America baby! The biggest gang/mafia in the world.

The law of the land is the constitution...that is all the law that matters. U.S. congressmen have broken almost every law created in the book including aiding the enemy and are still free.

Apples and oranges. One committed federal crimes against the US Gov, while a member of the army, while the US is involved in a "war," and the other committed a state crime.

One can also make an argument that Manning got off lucky, because he was found innocent of aiding the enemy. If this were the 40s, they probably would have shot Manning on the spot.
