Get a pitbull. Preferably a female rescue. The more abused the better.

They are excellent family dogs.

yeah, my cousin in Baltimore has a cat and dog that play together and get along, it's like some dap fishing smart dumb niccas overlooked the fact that some people actually had dogs and cats at the same time
