"Catfish Alley"- Some dope pictures of blacks in the Mississippi Delta

I recently became homesick for my hometown of Columbus, MS and I started looking up pictures and information and found stuff I never knew living there.

Columbus, MS, "Catfish Alley" to be exact was popular and prosperous place for blacks in the 20s through 60s until it hit an economic decline and multiple natural disasters in the 80s and 90s.

I also found some cool pictures of the rest of the MS delta.

i think it was around the 80s and 90s that most people left for bigger cities in the surrounding areas and Alabama/Tennessee/Georgia
