Was able to get through the 1st book. Thought it was cool until the last half when the fukkery took overGave up on the rest of the series then. Haven't watched the show yet.

Yeah I've read all the books include the Grand Opening books and the spin off books minus the Gay brothers. Most were damn good even though the last few offerings were of a lesser quality. Tried to peep the show but the acting was just so bad I gave up quick.

Got 18 episodes on the DVR. Finna binge it now.
Feel like the writing is good but the acting is really inconsistent from actor to actor. Like Ernie Hudson is solid but then some of the random extras with 2 or 3 lines seem like they've never acted before. The delivery of the lines will be completely off. Too much music in every scene.
