Only Americans do this, everybody else pronounces it Carry-bian. It's the metric system all over again.

Wish they would focus more on showing the food and how it’s made. First episode was so much talking. So much talking.

I’ll keep watching because Caribbean and food are right up my alley but hopefully the producers and editors give the show better direction moving forward. Too unfocused. Needs some fat trimmed.

Pronunciation police called me on this before in real life. I asked which island ,or group of islands gets to dictate the proper way to say it.? Especially since the official/unofficial languages in our countries are different.
