Sup ya'll. I recently partially tore my ac joint in my shoulder and doctor told me lay off of it for about 4 more weeks. In the meantime instead of being a bum I decided im going to do leg workouts and cardio. What cardio routines do you guys do? I know cardio is key to burning fat so maybe if I get this in while my shoulder heals I can burn some bodyfat before I start lifting again. Any tips?

I would follow the plan above then. Stationary Bike is okay but you have to put in hours for the equivalent calories burned.

I would start with something simple like 15 miles per week. You could do 5x3, 3x5 or any variation you can come up with. You have a month with is a solid base to start with coming from sedentary to running. Depending on what vanity reasons you are trying to achieve, do you have a performance goal?

My performance goal is to be able to run a 10 minute 3200m(2 mile) and put up 245LBS. I'm closer to the 10 flat 3200m than the 245lbs but I'll get there. My PR is 10:23 set last September. Right now I can only put up 205lbs 3 times.

with any injury cycling would be your best bet, and dieting is the best way to burn body fat besides weight lifting.
