Anybody here was car resto shows? I’m looking for one to watch that is just about the cars and not all the bullshyt wacky story lines of the shop. The more detailed about the cars the better. Preferably old schools but Im cool with any of them with that format.

Motor Week shyts been on the air since 81 and isn't about that wacky slapstick comedy shyt. Real informative too they keep up to date on the latest in cars and technology.

That's a good one but Im looking for restoration shows. I saw one a long time ago and it reminded me of "This Old House," where they just fixed the car without all the slapstick shyt and side stories. I just can't remember what it was. All these shows nowadays have some weird ass theme and they barely focus on the work.

I'd go with Wheeler Dealers or Chasing Classic Cars. They need to get a show going where the focus just isn't primarily old white guys tho

Just found Iron Ressurection and it was pretty solid. 40 min show and the restore one car. Just watched them do a 65 Falcon. Minimal shenanigans, mostly car talk.

Ive been watching this channel called goonzquad on YouTube for the past four years. It's two brothers rebuilding wrecked cars and they are essentially a two man operation. They put out 3 episodes a week like clockwork. I been watching them so long, where when I started, they were literally broke. Now they got 2.5M subscribers and fix all kinds of cars. I see them restoring cars from civics to Ferraris and lambos. They even built their own crib.

they have hundreds of episodes and countless car builds since these dudes never seem to take any days off. probably my #1 most watched YT channel. and I have a shytload of channels I'm subscribed to on YT.

I get all my car content for YT now too. Really depends on the type of cars and builds. I like fabrication so I follow Project Binky, B is for Build, Tavarish, Gingium, Harry's Garage, Tyrells workshop,
