The Captain America statue will first be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 20-24. Once the event has ended, the bronze hero will head east for a dedication ceremony at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Wednesday, August 10. Fans will be able to follow Cap’s journey across the country through social media — keep an eye on Marvel’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram profiles for updates. Meanwhile, if what you really want is for Cap to come to your home, Comicave Studios will sell a limited-edition line of 750 12-inch bronze replicas and 100 made-to-order 35-inch pewter ones.

Too bad there aint no fake cities in this country to show homage to or celebrate some other paltry hero's

Jerry Rich was like "bump all that, I know I ain't ran one td up in here but ya'll going to know who I am". Then built probably the hardest statue I have seen with them Panthers around it.

Let me quit trolling though, Im DC through and through but that Cap statue is nice.


I need DC to go head keep the competition going though and build that joint from BvS .

The funny thing about that statue is the other day..... having no idea about it.... I happened to be around the stadium when they were putting it up. I remember the street was blocked off (cuz normally the road I would take to go home would drive me straight past it) so I had to detour and I recall seeing a few folks to the side laughing but I didnt pay it no mind.

It wasnt till the next day when I heard on ESPN and saw on tv the statue.

Man I was dying.... I had to go back out there the next day to see that shyt for myself..... I cant even express in words what its like seeing it in person
