Seems like they're testing the waters. Only time will tell
MvC4 is definitely happening especially since Disney. Been pushing out Marvel games and Capcom resurrecting old IPs. Also the MvC collection met sell goals for Capcom. It’s only a matter of time until we get an announcement.

Modern day Marvel has too many well-known, mainstream characters to split the roster with Capcom

Rank system is trash too. You can just grind your way to grand master.
Should be more like newer games where each rank is indicative of a particular level of skill and you lose and gain ranks based on performance.

nah i disagree
grinding is normal play, these grandmasters all use the same top tier characters
it gives someone like me a better chance than penalizing me for losses
*edit* you get 1 point for losing any normal fight
you get anywhre from 5 to 150 for a win depending on how high they rank was
You know what, you right.
Especially with all the tier whoring and the fact people been playing marvel non-stop for the last 20 odd years. Gotta give newer players something to strive for.
