Capcom has forsaken Mega Man ya'll

They're still holding down 2D fighting though

Dead Rising IS classic. It was the reason I pre-ordered and wanted and Xbox 360 in the first place.

They sold the pitch well, which was "Think Dawn of the Dead. You get to have fun and kill zombies in that mall."

Then it had the followers you had to save and protect, the psycho minibosses, and all the unique stores.

They tried to mess it up by outsourcing the development for the second one, except they went with Blue Castle Games, who is an underrated and terrific development group.

Plus they made Case Zero and Case West, and Off The Record...

It's one CAPCOM franchise that has done no wrong, in my book.

Capcom is still my favorite, but they have slipped up a couple of times.

Lost Planet had potential, but that shyt is garbage now.

Resident Evil is a straight up action series now, but I would not necessarily say its a fukkup.

The only real slip up with Street Fighter is the 3D shyt they tried

They need to reboot Onimusha

I still kinda like Capcom compared to other publishers but to answer your question, they dropped their top talent. The main people that brought you Capcom classics like Mega Man, Resident Evil 1/2/4, Devil May Cry 1/3, God Hand, Viewtiful Joe 1/2, Okami and even Dead Rising are all gone.

For every fukk up, they give us a MvC3 or a SSFIV or bringing back MVC1 and MSH for download with online play. They could make 3 shytty games, then turn around and go in the archives and re-release some fire. Never count Capcom out.
