I checked out like 6 or so tracks off GP since Cold Vein is a personal classic. Rhymes are cool and beats are cool … but separately. Sounds like Vast had a bunch of raps set to a certain tempo then tried to slow them down and rap them over these beats. Just doesn’t sound cohesive. I probably won’t give the rest a listen.

It's crazy. Vast was the star on Cold Vein but Vordul clearly has the better solos.

Man really dropped a solo album with the name of a group that's been defunct for like 20 years. Shameless.

What's crazy is they dropped an EP in 2013 and had the audacity to include two El-p produced tracks ("Metal Gear" and "Life's Ill") from 10+ years prior.
