cool to see Canelo speaking english comfortably after all these years. crazy to see his entire career play out when you think about it.
Kirkland was the hardest he's ever been hit?? he barely touched Canelo...hence why he mentioned he "felt the power on his arms". you know Canelo wasn't going to give GGG any props whatsoever though because he despises him.
Yeah like golovkin would prob say lemiuex was his hardest hitter he faced. Canelo consistently said Kirkland even years back. Thing with golovkin isn't just his power which is obviously elite, is his relentlessness, shot placement, defense, jab, chin, counter ability and other skill. He's the prototype you want in a pressure fighter. Kirkland was more just power and stamina he was defensively leakywhat he is saying isnt a stretch by any means though. before each fight I said GGG wasnt going to be able to do much damage to Canelo. Kirkland was a legit bomber, was the only thing he could do really. GGG probably hit him the hardest but I think the question was who was the hardest puncher he faced not the hardest punch.
I only watched it once so have to go back and get some clarity...sounds like he said the offer for Bud was a little less than 150m. the fight is going to get made. if Bud gets anywhere from 30 to 50 he not turning it down. dont see how Canelo turns down 100m plus either.
that was a great card and great event on Saturday despite Madrimov being unknown
Kirkland was actually doing some good work in that fight, would have def made it interesting had be been right with Anne and etccool to see Canelo speaking english comfortably after all these years. crazy to see his entire career play out when you think about it.
