Most of them are like recent 1st/2nd generation immigrants from the Caribbean and Africa. They aren't about the struggle like the way many American Blacks were. Hell most of them Canadian blacks were originally well off families back in there home countries before leaving for Canada.

Nope.

Yep.

Can't be about a struggle we've never experienced. Our histories aren't one and the same.

That's quite the reach. Most of the immigrant families I know weren't well off. If they were they would've never left. :ld:

That's what I meant. They don't have the struggle in the way we see our definition of struggle. They probably have a different meaning.

People on this board keep saying that, but I have yet to encounter even one case where that's been true.

Caribbean and African blacks do better than you in western countries not because we're well off, but because we tend to have a better work ethic than you. We also don't see the "struggle" the way you do because our cultures weren't completely ripped away from us by the white establishment. Yours were. That very key factor is what leads to such very different mentalities between American and Caribbean/African blacks in Canada and the United States.

Comparing a small population of brain drain immigrants to a whole population is highly inaccurate to mention how one group is doing better than the other. There have already been many studies that have shown that college educated Black Americans make an higher annual income, than those brain drain immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean. With your theory it's like me comparing all the educated Black Americans to the whole population of Haiti.
