This throws a bit of unpredicability in terms of when the next election will be held, though I still think the ultimate result (Conservative majority) is baked in.
With prorogation till March, and a new Liberal leader by the time Parliament returns, there is a chance that the NDP walk back their promise to bring the government down. Their polling is just as as dreadful as the Liberals, aside from the CPC, the other bigger winners from the next election will be the Bloc in Quebec.
Regardless, I think its rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, and its better we move on and get a change of government sooner than later. I expect Ontario to call an election soon, with Ford winning another majority on the count of a weak opposition. We will have Conservative rule in the biggest provinces (ON, Quebec, Alberta) and at the federal level. Lets see what they do with it, they wont have anyone else to blame for the rest of this decade.
