can you tell if somebodies demonic just by observing them and listening to them talk?

theres this new guy at my work. seemed like a pretty cool guy until I heard him laugh. it was the most heinous cackle i've ever had the misfortune of hearing. sounded like he had a throat full of nails. his face scrunched up and settled into an eye-to-ear smile. his eyes bulged out of his head. the joke wasn't even that funny. dudes demonic side just revealed itself for a split moment like one of those shape-shifting reptilians.
