Can you get cut by doing only pushups?

Not trying to get big or anything, just cut and was wondering if just doing pushups is cool? If so, how many?

Well, any exercise can get you cut. Pushups? Yes.
1. Don't cheat on depth.
2. Do as many repetitions as you can in a set. Do multiple sets. Try for a total of 200 push-ups spread throughout multiple sets in an hour. If you don't make it, that's okay. 1. Again, don't cheat on depth. If you can't complete a full push-up, then that it. You've gone to exhaustion. 2. If 200 is easy, then go for more. 3. Mix up the type of push-ups that you do. Putting your hands closer to each other will work the triceps more.

This what I've been doing

I max out 1 set of Pushups, 36-48 hours later I do one more than my Max from the previous day. Keep repeating.

Chest, Shoulders and Tris looking solid.

I'm gonna continue this until I get to 60. Then I'm gonna get a body vest, chinup bar and 5' Barbell

Hows this going?

I done just push ups while I was 5 weeks out the gym, just been back in the gym this week. Strength increases were good, went into the gym and set 4 PBs

yeah i do them in the morning before i get in the shower, and betweeen commercial breaks during the evening

Yup, I do them everyday when I'm home. I usually incorporate them during commercials if I'm watching tv or in between chapters if I'm reading/studying...if you're trying to get a nice basic cut frame, you basically need push ups, chins and lunges of some sort.
