I looked up the Swaggart Deedat debates. I'm an atheist, and Jimmy Swaggart had the most respectful start of a debate ever. He got like these Louisiana hicks to clap for Islam, and then apologized for a derogatory remark he made about Islam 2 years before.

the beginning of his debate he was really nice, but then Deedat brings up how he's making 15 mil off his christian pablum. So in the last 10 minutes, Swaggart switches into this weird cult leader "Jesus loves you" blah blah bullshyt.
compare Swaggart at 7:00 saying he'll never make another derogatory remark about Islam, with Swaggart at 1:23:20 where he calls him an "Ass carrying books"
