Can you excuse/tolerate low quality production as long as u like "the story"? (Croc Familia thread)

So...I've been making these mixed-media (stop-motion photography, cell phone video, etc.) YouTube videos and uploading them on YouTube. Admittedly the video and audio quality is far from good, but I rock with my stories. Please check some out when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

, how much of a "chance" do you give a work before deciding that you can't get past it's visual quality? I'm old school so I've been watching TV way before HD was a thing. I'm okay with watching poor quality bootlegs of movies as long as I like the content. I'd rather not do it, but I'm okay with it. How about you guys?

I'm genuinely interested though.
For you personally, during a week's worth of entertainment that you watch, is there anything on your list that you rock with despite it being a little bit lower quality (for ex., something on YouTube that is lower quality for stylistic reasons, or some old TV shows from the 80s and '90s that never got remastered)?

I find it's usually the other way around these days. Production looks decent to great but the story and acting is so bad I can't stick with it. Syfy channel comes to mind.
Thanks for your reply.

I've watched some SyFy stuff recently: ZNation, Resident Alien, Astrid and Lilly, etc. I feel like the quality of their stories is improving lately though.

Lol you had my at gata/gater
Thanks. I really do crack myself up when I watch them, but I don't really know how others would react (i.e. really funny, so-so funny, not funny, corny, offensively corny, etc.), so any feedback is always appreciated.

I did 3 episodes of the "Croc Familia" thing. Episode 2 is my favorite, but if you ever get around to watching all 3, please feel free to let me know what you think.
