I remember when Floyd was getting ready to fight Canelo, R.A. was talking about it and he said he was cool with looking bad. His said something along the lines of "I'm not mad that he fought all these guys. I've always said he's one of the most talented fighters and can beat these guys. But he's gotta fight them first."

Not sure how sincere he was being, but he's got a point in that we can't just give Floyd (or any other fighter) imaginary W's. He's gotta actually go out and win. And he's done just that. But again, he might just be trying to save face
