Can we please put to rest the myth that Michael Jordan the ballplayer invests in private prisons?

I'm not a Jordan fan.

Never was.

Not for personal reasons, strictly basketball related.

I was first a Hornets fan because they was the closest team to where I'm from and I was able to see most of their games on local TV in the early 90s, then a Magic fan when Shaq and Penny was there, and I've been a Sixers fan since '96 when they drafted Iverson, so as a lifelong Eastern Conference teams fan, who wasn't a Bulls fan, I've never been a fan of Michael Jordan the ball player.

I actually hated him.

But, I can't stand by and watch one of the greatest Black athletes of our time continually have his name dragged through the mud for some shyt that just isn't true.

Granted, Mike has never taken a stance on any social issues during his time of fame in this country, but that doesn't mean that he should be falsely accused of bullshyt so other nikkas can get clicks on their platforms.

I thought by now, it was common knowledge that the Micheal Jordan that has invested heavily in private prisons was not Michael Jordan the ball player, but some cac lawyer from Oregon, but I'm sitting here listening to Joe Budden's latest podcast, and Joe is spitting this same tired narrative in an attempt to shyt on Mike's good name.

This is the Micheal Jordan that invests in private prisons..

Michael Jordan, Director | The City of Portland, Oregon

A simple google search would show you this immediately, but nikkas typically go off of what they heard instead of seeking out information for themselves.

Stop dap fishing and actually read the OP.

About a quarter million people listen to this podcast religiously every week and it's irresponsible for Joe to just throw that out before fact checking his comment.

Budden really do numbers like that ? :patrice:

Brehs come a long way from playing kickball with his online fans :mjlol:
